New Home and Much Thanks

I was just sitting here drinking some Starbucks in my SBCU coffee mug and thought of a posting I should have listed weeks ago. About 4 weeks ago, Epic Bikes made our move from 1816 Jonesboro Rd to 1993 Jonesboro Rd. Moving always stinks but moving a bike shop is very involved. Talk about small parts.

Well, we got it done (the move) in two days. And let me tell you that it would have taken much longer if it hadn't been for our patrons/ customers / and friends that helped us with the move. It makes me realize something. Starting the bike shop some 4 years ago started community. That is the greatest thing about bicycling. It is community. And I feel fortunate that we are rich and building in that. When I think of all the people we have come into contact during the last 4 years, it shocks me.

So we will continue to build community. My companion in cycling- Stigers will continue to push the road bike envelope. And I will get back to my roots of mountain biking and work on expanding opportunities to ride for our community. You know, Henry County (GA) has no mountain bike trails period. I am going to do something about that. We need a place for beginners to go and for even seasoned enthusiasts who might want to take a friend or an emerging youth that wants to experience the sport.

Bravo everyone! Thanks for supporting us and helping us move. Now we are bigger, better and a continued work in progress to provide you the very best in service and support as well as the best products for your cycling needs. Until next time.
